Happy 2012 world! I have full faith that you'll still be around for 2013, just sayin'. However, a new year, and I've gone nowhere in this endeavor, so it is time to get VERY specific about my goals. For 2012, I vow to:
1. Much more carefully monitor what I eat.
~When I met Justin, I tracked it all, and it worked very well for me. However, I've been using what he
he can (and does) eat as a crutch for far too long. He is perfectly willing to eat what I eat; I just
need to exercise the willpower to ensure that we are both eating in a healthy manner.
2. Get my ass (and the rest of my body) in motion!
~I don't have the whiny excuse that I'm too busy to exercise anymore. I no longer am working full
-time, and therefore have plenty of time to get it done. I vow to be in the gym at least 3
days per week.
3. Get about fifty pounds off by the time I go to Michigan.
~My family has never seen the smaller me; they will this summer! It gives me a good target time
frame.
I have to do this. It's hard to look in the mirror these days. The guilt and self-hatred get to be a bit overwhelming. Good luck to all in their goals for this year, and may it bring you much happiness.
